92 w150 tranny
Probably not due to all of the differences in the LA and Magnum blocks and all of the ECU and transmission computers. If you have an A-904, do what I did, get a TCI Sizzler transmission and a TCI Breakaway torque converter. That cost about $950 shipped. It rules.

No...your 92 has the 46RH transmission in it. The 46RE wasn't used in trucks until 1998. It's shifts are electronically controlled by the computer (Hence the E) while the RH's shifts are hydraulic controlled (Hence the H). The only thing electronically controlled on the RH is the OD unit.

The magnum and LA blocks aren't all that different iirc, just the heads and valvetrain for the most part.
It should bolt right up, but you'll have to do some wiring magic and figure out how to get the ecu/tcu to work. Not worth the hassle imho.
