Should be about 200-210 for the ring/pinion only, plus more for the install kit. And I assume you're not going to install it yourself so you can count on it costing about $500 all said and done. Which casing do you have? It makes a difference. I recommend going to the install shop and getting a quote. If it's more than $500, figure out why. If the parts are too much, get them elsewhere.

Where do you buy axle parts? www.ringpinion.com should be your first answer. Give them a call.

Where do you get your other performance parts? www.summitracing.com again should be your first answer. You might find slightly better prices elsewhere, but the service can't be beat.

Thanks. Yes I'm going to do it my self because I don't trust the shop where I live. They think that if your in the army you have all this money, so they try to rape you on the price. So I'll do it my self.

I find a couple of places with Gears. Drive Train Warehouse wants $275.00 for 3.91, and DTS wants $235.00 for 3.90, and Jeg's wants $389.88 for 3.90.

Through Summit:

Richmond Gear Sportsman 3.90/4.10 - 187.95
Superior Axle 3.90/4.10 - 229.95
Mopar Performance 3.90/4.10 - 237.99

Skip the 3.91, I'm not sure why you'd need to go with the 14/43 split instead of 10/39. I guess it might be stronger, more metal or something, but it seems like an unneeded expense.

Add to that another $120 for the install kit.

The Richmond gears sound pretty good. 3.90 gears will work. How do I get them?

www.summitracing.com - click 'online store' then 'differential and rear end components' then 'ring and pinion gears' and under axle model click 'show all' and select 8.375, that'll bring up the list. It is apparently the same part as the 8 1/4.
