Raising a '91 D-150....
Quick question... really...
Parts stores sell lift/lower kits for trucks, but that'd only lift/lower the back end with the leafsprings. Is there an easy lift/lower kit for the front shock setup on our trucks?
I am budget tuning at this point. :-)
Thanks.

I personally don't recommend body lifts. They're not safe in my opinion...to elevate the cab that much further away from the frame. It's fine if you're going to drive it carefully on the road. But if you're going to wheel it...or plow snow with it...or if god forbid you ever get into an accident, it's going to be nothing but a liability. Granted with a 2wd D150 you won't be wheeling or plowing...but accidents are still a possibility.
With that said, the lift does do what it's advertised. It will lift your truck.
As far as install, I haven't done any nor do I have any info for install on a 1st gen. But here's a write-up for a '97 Ram: http://www.pavementsucks.com/tech/bodylift.php It's not exact, but it will give you an idea.
Out of curiousity, why do you want to lift your truck?
