Welcome to DF!! just curious on why you chose to use a chevy in the ram50?

Why not a 360?

Its not on what kind of motor, ill go with the best and easiest way to do the job. im lookig to get a lot of power out of this. it doesnt have to be chevy. it can be chrysler. but i just dont know witch is the best way to do it, and even how? how to make the mounts and the modifications for the converstion.
if you know how please let me know. anything but a ford motor for me is great.

Honestly I have never worked on a ram 50 before... I think you would probaly be best off with using a small block motor. Even with just a slightly modded Chrysler small black, Im sure that thing will go like hell

About mounts, you would have to get the motor first and mock it up to see where the mounts need to be and other modifications to the truck
