Default Engine Conversion

Is it possible to convert an 1992 MPFI Fuel Injected 318 to a carbureted system? What is involved?

It's possible....but why would you want to? [:'(] Especially if you live in an area with winters. Carburated vehicles are very unfavorable in the winter [>:]

You'd have to switch the upper intake manfiold, heads, and do a lot of rewiring to convert it.

On a side note, are you SURE the '92 motor is MPFI and not TBI?

Heads? Why?

Intake manifold for sure, along with the ignition system.

Heads? Why?
Because if I remember correctly, the intake manifold bolts on differently.

well i guess its not practical then, i was thinking it would be a simpler set up than all those injectors and electrical routings, plus i wanted a nice shiny edelbrock carb on top of my engine but thats ok
