I used the C bracket and mounted mine under the dash. It's in my Dakota now, but there was plenty of real estate under there for it.

Mine was under the dash directly in line with the accelorater when I bought the truck. Now its in the glove box until I get new hardware. :-p

I plan to have it on a bracket (self made) which will elt it stay snug under the dash when not in use, but pull down and out when I am on the road or want to use the PA.

I used to have one in my 82 ram 4x4 and I mounted it on the top of the dash and had 2 big whips mounted to the box just behind the cab. it would probly look better mounted under the dash though.
