Default 1 wire alternator

Has anyone else swaped out the stock alternator for a 1 wire set up with internal voltage regulator yet? I am considering this for simplicity and a new wiring scheme under the hood in my 1985 w150 with a 318. Also, has anyone else tried out the denso iridium plugs in the 318 yet? Lemeknow!

imho iridium plugs are overrated and expensive. copper conducts every bit as well, and I prefer to get under the hood a couple times a year and swap plugs and check everything out.

The swap to a chevy alt. is pretty common since so many places have the 1-wire setup in stock it makes it more practical to change.

Denso iridium plugs at $15 to $20 each is kinda like the Tornade fuel saver. (Sarcastic)
BUT If it makes you feel good do it.
