no spark

Default no spark

hello i am new to these forums and im looking for help with my truck. i have a 1976 w200 4x4 1ton. i am not familiar with dodge at all so please excuse my ignorance. i am not getting any spark. i pulled a spark plug and grounded it on the block and turned it over and no spark. where should i start looking?? i pulled the cap and rotor off and they look normal to me. any advice will be much appreciated. thanks

ok so i replaced the cap and rotor and replaced the coil and still no spark. it turns over but no spark. if anybody could help it would be much appreciated. thanks

Remove the coil wire from the distributor - you should have a hot spark to ground when cranking. Try that and give us some feedback.

Bad engine control module is my guess. Mine crapped out on me driving down the freeway, no spark but it'd crank forever.

PS W200 is a 3/4 ton.
