Default advice needed Issues on 01 Ram 1500 2wd

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 5.9l 2wd, bought it last Feb with 49k on it, it now have 94k on it, had an issue with the tires on it wearing odd, Replaced the tires, and brakes (had them check the suspension no issues?) take it to get a wheel alignment they wont do it because the bearings are to bad quoted at $350 to have them done there, ok I'm still getting low hum grinding occasional from the front end, you can feel it in the steer wheel when it happens when I took it to the local dealership that the issue they are saying th issue is with the Front hubs. when I do a search online for parts for my truck, say for example advance auto parts, the only thing they have for my truck for bearings, is front 4wd ($251), mine is only 2wd, when I asked the dealer about the hubs, they also stated about 200 just in parts per side. OK I work on computers all day, I am not that mechanically inclined tire rotation is about the only thing I trust myself to do on my own truck though I could probably do more, what is the difference between the two or are they using different terminology for the same part and what is my best course of action with this truck.
