Adding dual exhaust to SXT issue
It Seems that the SXT without dual exhaust has a computer or fuel evaporation box in the way for the left pipe. I took it over to the folks that are probably going to install my flowmaster and such and they said to look at the possibility of moving the box forward or out of the way. It seems to be right in line of where the left pipe hangs (see pic) does anyone have any idea where this is located on the R/T with dual? or any thoughts on moving this? Any help would be awsome

Well.. I accidentally found an answer for you.. I was under my car just now looking for my elusive ticking noise which I am tracking down (Looks like its related to the parking brake cable sending noise up to my center console) and I noticed that I have the same box over the exhaust pipe of my dual exhaust.. (I have an R/T)
The exhaust pipe just hangs below it and there's tons of clearance so it shouldn't be an issue when installing a new exhaust. The box appears to have something to do with emissions as there are rubber hoses going to it and no electrical wires so even if you had to move it there shouldn't be an issue.
Also the existing exhaust is welded everywhere except for about 1 foot in front of the cat which has a clamp.
Did you guys happen to notice the size of the muffler? I thought that was the gas tank this whole time until I looked under there.. I'm wondering if that muffler would have less air flow restriction than a flow master cause its so damn big lol
