Transmission software reflash

To the people that have had the transmission software reflashed due to the hard up/down shifting...Did it fix the problem and are you glad you had it done? I have had my Avenger for about 2 months and I love the attention it gets( Mustangs and rice burners pulling up next to me and revving their engines).The only mods I have done so far are tinting the windows and buying the front end cover (bra) and debadging the rear trunk lid.

I have the SE with a 4 cyl. and it did work. ALOT BETTER.

sueKby any chance did you also need the G33 and G39 recalls too. G33 are for the front door handle cables and G39 is for the electric fans and relocate the ground wire.

I recieved a recall notice on the handle cables last week by mail and also I check at Dodge.com for the other.I saw nothing yet for me about recall notice for the G39. I expected one for G39 in November since I read that everyone would be contacted in November. I have no idea what's going on with that.
