Fuel Efficiency
So what is everyone getting for average fuel economy on their trip computers?
I am getting 18.1(13mpg) liters per 100K average - which is rather disgusting.
Car is the 2008 RT AWD with 3700KM
Conversion to MPG can be done with google: http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=...arch&meta=
Just change the numbers around and you can post your mpg or liters per 100k so everyone (no mater where they are from) knows it.
My driving style is medium aggressive - I accelerate fast but I certainly do not pin it.

6.9l/100km (34mpg) with snow tyres - 6,5l/100km (36mpg)
during normal commuting
towns 50km(30mph)/ roads 100km/h(60mph)/ motorways 130-180km/h(70-110mph)
2008 CRD ( diesel turbo injection - euro version)
i usually go with the flow, no wheel spins from the lights but the turbodiesel usually leaves the boyracers standing
not bad for a big car

I'm getting about 18.5 mpg using a K&N Air filter (improved things by about ~1.5-2 mpg) here in the Southeastern United States... moderate acceleration (with the occasional tire smoking just to show the Camaro next to me whats up) and a mix of Highway/city driving.
Hrrm seems I am getting very poor results compared to everyone else! by 6 or more liters per 100K in the RTs...
My next post about tires is about to likely blow the lid off of the issue...

I get 13-15 mpg with spirited city driving. If i use cruise control on the highway at about 65-70mph i get about 24-26.
I think you just need to take it easy on the acceleration. Also I use 87 octane not the recommended 89 so that might might make a diff.

I was getting an average of 18MPG Citybut I have since been beating on my car quite a little bit more lately then I have in the past so as of this month my current MPG for the month is.. You're gonna love this.. 8 MPG.. But then again that's with me driving on side roads with 30 MPH signs doing an average of 56 MPH with top speeds averaging 103 MPH..
I don't have highway mileage since I avoidhighways on my way to work because there are less police activity and traffic on the side roads I use.
I was going to buy a ChargerSRT8 but decided later on that the Avenger should be more fuel efficient.. Guess I was wrong.. Well unless the SRT8 gets 1 MPG
I have an Avenger R/T with 2034 miles on it and a K&N Air filter.
