Hey Gang !!
I purchase my 08 avanger back in august and all has been well. This week in the mail i got a postcard drom dodge about an updated navigation disk it stated that a newer version is out and they want 199 dollars to get it. First question can it be that out of date? second anyone used the update and third is there a cheaper option. I have a buddy thats in parts he told me its third party and he dosen't think he can get a break on it .

I got that mailing as well. Went to the website and Avengers are not listed. Waiting to hear back from my dealer.

I heard back from NAVTEQ:

Thank you for contacting NAVTEQ. There are currently no updates for the MyGiG system. Please register with us at the number listed below if you would like to be notified when updates become available. We are open M-F, 8AM-6PM Central Time.

So, no update for the Avenger OR the MyGig system???

Wonder why we got the mailing? Their database must not be very specific.
