Does anyone know how to remove the chrome trim around the shifter? Whenever the sun shines through the windshield and hits this piece it constantly glares in my eyes. Also, is there anywhere to buy alternative interior trim pieces?

Also, does anyone know if you can place a tint strip on the winshield over the black pattern around/above the rearview mirror? I have all of my windows tinted and plan to add the strip.

it depends on state laws but I think most states allow you tint the top 6 inches, do a quick search on google for tint laws many sites will clear up this question.

 

I successfully installed the sunshade strip I bought from extremetint? on Ebay and had little trouble with the dot-type mask at the top of the windshield. Your strip should not extend below the mark on the right inside of the windshield, or approximately the top of the rearview mirror mounting shoe. Most states will not measure too carefully, so if it is not excessive beyond the "mark", it will be ok...
