08 avenger 2.4L engine noise

08 avenger 2.4L engine noise

Can anyone find the reason why the 2.4L engines make so much noise and if so how can i fix it? Also is there any good site for parts for the new avenger parts?

neighbors seems pretty quiet to me ... Do you have excessive noise ??? number of miles ??? have you compared it to a new one ???
I've not seen much yet for engine performance ... aftermarket seems to lag a bit

I tried a jeep compass with that engine and it was noisy too. I just think it's normal. My 2.7 in my Avenger is quieter.
As for parts, check e-bay. I'm getting a billet grille for mine.

I think that's what you have to settle with. I installed a Pro Zen air intake that can be bought at ebay and I think it sounds better now.
