Question Idle Issues

I'm getting Idle problems with my 2008 dodge avenger 2.4l, it has 41,000 miles on it. has thrown 0 error codes and no check engine light. I hooked it up yesterday to the obd2 and scanned tranny codes brought up error P0004 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit High. after reading different post looks like it could possibly be the egr valve, car idle's 600-800rpm, will die randomly when comming to stop. and no warrenty left, any help would be very much apreciated or if anyone is having the same problem stay posted if i figure it out i will post the fix

What kind of tool are you using, and what module are you scanning? Is this the PCM?

I've looked in all the modules and cannot find a P0004 code.
