Question 3 Questions

I don't have daytime running lights. Instead I leave the light switch turned to on and in a matter of minutes they will automatically shut off. The problem is they stay on for quite sometime, like 5 minutes. Anyway to get them to turn off on their own any faster?

WHen I lock the car with the key remote the horn will honk once to verify the remote alarm is on, any way to get the horn honk to disable?

On a 2008 Avenger with 43,000 miles, what is all covered on a Dodge warranty if anything? Is there a link that shows so I don't have to call the dealership on every item. Thanks all, excellent help on this forum.

You can find out from the dealer if they could inable the DRL and they can also disable the horn for the door locks too. These are not covered under warranty. The only you can find out what your warranty is, know someone that has access to the dealer connect and then run a fuction 14.

Any dealer can disable or enable daytime running lights and the horn chirp with a tool called a star scan. The dealer I work for offers this service for free.

You have no warranty left except for 80 or 100k extended federal emmisions.

The warranty on 2008 Avengers is 3 years/36k miles.

Wow I have a 3 stage warranty plus what I bought. One year bumper to bumper, 3 years or 60000KM the stuff like brakes bulbs, etc, stuff that wears out is no longer covered but drivetrain is for 5 years of 100000KMs. I bought one more year Gold Plan no deductible which gets a lot of those things that aren't covered after 3 years recovered.
