Chrysler decided they want the instructions on cd, so they are being produced currently. Molar should be placing the order in the next couple weeks.

Hey Anthony,

Yeah the order was placed and i actually have it installed now. Its definitley an upgrade from the old one. The only couple of things they didnt include with it(well probably because i didnt mention it(because i didnt think i needed to)) was the upgraded antenna for Sirius and USB cord that goes from the radio and feeds out from your glove box.

The antenna he said they would install for free, because that should have come with the package anyways since its a Sirius capable now. The only problem with that whole thing is that he said i might not be able to get my year free of it, i would have to call Sirius and ask(beg) or something.

As for the USB cord, they said they can install that for about $75. The cord itself is about $30. Im talking with X about this issue though. My question about the cord (PN: 82212160) is that will it be able to let me choose what song i want played through voice command. Like will i be able to hit the voice command button and say "play playlist "on the go", or "play track "such and such." My friend has a 2010 focus that allows him to do that through his USB/voice command system. So thats my only question about that cord. I asked my dealer but i think hes a little behind the times on this, as he mentioned before that "im not the best with technology" 0-o...
So far im waiting on a few words from X, or anyeone else that would know, about the cord thing(voice commanding it through the radio), and then ill probably go ahead and get that installed when i get enough answers about it.

KD, I just replied to the other thread about the features and PN for the cable. I also included a picture of the cable.

The new 2012 Uconnect kits for vehicles that have the RES radio without Uconnect buttons have been shipped this week, the dealers should be able to order them from the depot in the next couple days. The PN's are:
82213219 for vehicles with Low Speed CAN BUS networks.
82213221 for vehicles with High Speed CAN BUS networks.

Anthony,

The dealers do not have these parts yet. As far as I can tell right now it will be a couple more weeks.

Anthony,

The part can only be ordered through a dealer. Those part numbers are just starting to arrive at the parts warehouses around the country and in very limited numbers.
