I have two small buckles (dents) on each fold of the hood. They are exactly in the same spot on opposite sides of the hood close to the center. The body shop said the buckles were caused by the hood being dropped when being closed. They said there is not enough support under the hood and it is buckling under the stress of being dropped closed from to high. The dealer said they have not seen it before. The body shop said they have seen it several times. The body shops explanation makes perfect sense. Has anyone else seen or heard of this issue?

 

I haven't heard of it, but it sounds feasible.
