Hello all,


I bought a factory remote start kit for my sons 2008 Avenger R/T. (kit # 82211442AD) The kits instructions say to install the hood pin kit and to connect one end to ground and the other end into the GT70 circuit cavity 11 under the TIPM module.


My problem is there is already a factory purple and blue wire in this cavity. Does anybody know if I'm supposed to remove the factory wire?


Besides this error the instructions are fairly explicit and don't mention removing an existing wire.
