Default RPM Rev limit?

I noticed on my new to me 2013 r/t that when in neutral you can press the gas to the floor and the tachometer will max out at 4kRPM. My dad had a 2010 Camaro 2SS that you could do that to and when you popped the clutch it would take off like a rocket, it was meant to do this. Is this the same type of feature? I feel like it could be but would hate to find out the hard way that it's not. Any and all advice welcome! First post!

Does your vehicle have the 3.2 or 3.6 V6 and is it with a automatic or manual transmission?

Guess we will never know. In do know on my Journey, if I'm in park, I simply cannot rev the engine. Period. If I try really hard by feathering the gas I can get it to go up to 2k maybe.

Sorry for the long response time but it's a 3.6L V6 automatic with the optional bump shifter.

So....what is it you want to know? Are you wanting to floor it and drop it into gear like the Camaro? Nothing stopping you from trying if that is what you want to do. It's not so great on the transmission doing that though. You don't have a clutch.
