Default oil pan gasket help

...2008 Avenger SXT 2.4 "K" vin...so I think I've got a leak. Got the Fel-Pro gasket set...comes with the rtv sealant...how/where do I use the rtv? on both sides of gasket?
Also, says it takes a hour to dry, 24 to cure... so how long do I wait to fill it back up with oil and run? Thanks for any and all help and guidance...

I usually use the RTV on the part side of the gasket and none where it goes against the engine.
