I have a 2013 Dodge Avenger SE that has this hissing sound which can be found from the left side of the car when you open up the hood, it's definitely a sound that concerns me. Whenever the engine temperature reaches half this sound begins. It sounds like it might be a power steering pump or one of the pulleys I'm not entirely sure. If anybody has any idea of what could be causing this sound please let me know. A YouTube link is down below.

 

Sounds like a water pump going bad after the system warms up.
