Default P0456 codes indicating "EVAP fuel system leak" detected

Hey everyone, so I've been getting P0456 codes on my car for the past few months. At first I replaced the gas cap and it went away for a few days, but then it came back again. They sold me a "Fuel system leak detection pump" at Autozone, but didn't know where it goes. Now I can actually smell raw fuel around the gas cap after driving. Does anyone know of any instructions for how to replace this part? I couldn't seem to find any online. Looking forward to some helpful answers. Thanks

Oh sorry, I thought it would come through on my profile or something.
It's a 2013 Dodge Avenger, 2.4 SE model (automatic).

UPDATE: So I went up under the car and was able to find where the part goes, but according to the code it indicates a "small leak" in the EVAP system.
Should I just take it to a shop for them to find where the "leak" could possibly be? Or should I even try replacing the part they sold me? It looks like just a couple of hoses, a plug, and yank it out of where it's mounted and place the new one on, but not sure if anything needs to be done before disconnecting hoses. Thoughts?

post a pic of the part they sold you. My information does not show a leak detection pump being used for your vehicle...It uses an ESIM.
