2014 Avenger Throttle Body Issues
Last night while driving the red lighting bolt light and the traction control light was blinking on the dash board. And the car would NOT accelerate. The engine also was louder than usual. I did the key dance and got 2 codes. P2110 (Throttle Actuator Control System Forced Limited RPM). The throttle body was removed and cleaned. It was really dirty. The car is still doing the same thing. And now with the key dance I received the same code P2110 (Throttle Actuator Control System Forced Limited RPM) and now P2112 (Throttle Actuator Control System - Stuck Closed). I also used an OBD which gave me the code P0113 (Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit high input problem)
at at this point i do not know what to do. I don’t know if cleaning it caused it to get stuck or if it was already stuck but i didn’t get that stuck closed code until after cleaning it.
Should i purchase a new Throttle body completely.?
