Default 2013 over heating/ head gasket 2.4

I will try to make a long story short . Ok I have had my car back to the dealer ship 5 times for this after the second time I have suspected the heat gasket. well they pressure checked replaced the radiator cap. well coolant disappeared aging and I noticed the when it got to running temp coolant went to the over flow but did not return. This tells me there is a leak in the system some where. so next they replaced the thermostat well that did not fix it and coolant still losing it some where I also told them that I was not hearing the high blower kick in but only when the ac is on . then it started missing on number there cylinder well now trip five they pulled the head and told me the block deck is warped and so is the head and the engine is toast. Thankfully its still on a Chrysler warranty I have looked on line and it looks like there is an updated head gasket for this I wonder if they would have done a block check could all this have been prevent and is this a common problem
