Default 14 Avenger lines from charcoal canister

I purchased a 14 Avenger for my daughter and it's costing a lot for unknown problems when I bought it. I was underneath it rerouting the O2 sensor lines that were laying on exhaust manifold and also checking downstream O2 sensor with multimeter because it was giving code that it was faulty. The O2 sensor read 5.5 ohms, then checked the upstream O2 sensor and it read the same. So I figured how could they both be faulty and read exactly the same. Then luckily (I guess) I noticed a rubber hose or line coming from rear that was just poking out with a connector on it but it was not connected to anything. Reached all around and couldn't find where it might attach and it was just the end of it sticking out so another hose must be missing that it goes to. I am assuming now that it comes from charcoal canister and goes to either purge valve or to the leak detection pump thing or whatever it is. Can someone who has some knowledge about this give me a hand. Thanks in advance!
