2008+ Dodge Avenger Igntion switch, ignition cylinder dissasembly
My girlfriends key was binding in the ignition on her 2010 Dodge Avenger and wouldn't turn sometimes, so I disassembled it all to clean the lock tumblers and lubricate them with graphite. Afterwards the car wouldn't start, so since I disassembled everything again, I made a video on how to do this in case someone has the issue in the future and can't figure out how to get the ignition cylinder apart. There are some tricks and it took me a while to figure out.
My starting issue ended up being that I probably shorted the ignition switch by spraying graphite lubricant up the cylinder, which probably caused a short and blew the fuse. New fuse and everything works like new. Well, as new as possible in one of these cars....
