2nd time! 2008 Dodge Avenger SE Window Regulator
My second time doing the Front Passenger Window Regulator on my daugther's 2008 Dodge Avenger SE. This time I was able to complete the job in less than 1 and a half hours as I am now proficient. I was not trying to break any time speed records as I pretty much went on doing this replacement in a very careful and thoughful manner. This new window regulator comes with a limited time Life-Time Warranty. It works like a charm!
In no way am I going to critizize the design of the window mechanical / Electric design as every manufacture has its own design purpose and I am referering to the difficulty in performing something like this to the typical Do-It-Yourself person. In being perfectly honest, this particular design will be extra difficult for someone not mechanically inclided or with suficient experience due to the sandwice manner of using a plastic shield holding the Motor for the Window Regulator and it is no wonder WHY-O-WHY the motor come separate from the window regular as the parts supplier know you will need to install the motor on the opposite side of the large plastic shield.
Since this is my 2nd time doing this on the exact window side, I may have done something wrong during my 1st time about a year and a half ago (2021) "or" the part quality was just not the best. Once the door was unassembled, all I saw was that the window regulator mechanical wire spool system unraveled.
For those interested, here is the first time I worked on this back in October 2021:

I am very pleased the 2nd time of my Do-It-Yourself turned out!
