Default Will 285/75-16 fit without issues?

I currently own a 2002 Dakota Sport, 4.7L Club cab. It only has 39,000 miles and the original Goodyear Wrangler tires. The tires are starting to crack from dry rot. Someone I know is taking the tires off his truck for something else. They are 285/75-16. They are almost new and at a really great price. So the obvious question, with they fit my truck with the stock suspension?

I was using a company car for a while. Then gas was getting crazy, so I have a Camry also. The truck only come out on days when I need the heavy duty tool box or carrying large items. Mostly at this time, weekend runs to the Home Depot.

I think I went up to that size and that was the biggest you can go to. If you go any higher then when you turn real sharp the tires will rub on the front fenders. You should be ok with those.

It's almost as good as my 2002 Camry with 17,000 miles on it. I guess I don't drive that much. As a matter of fact, I just had to replace the tires on that also for dry rot.
