vehicle- 1997 Dodge Dakota 5.2 V8 automatic 152k

I need some opinions on add ons that I'm looking to get this spring or summer.

these headers - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G9045/?rtype=10

What cold air intake would you recommend AEM brute force, Airraid, or K&N filter?

I need help choosing a good catalytic converter and I plan on putting a electric cutout in front of it.

What's a good superchip for a dodge dakota?

Thanks your opinions will help

Why put a cat on at all if you're going to dump it? or do you have an actuall sniff-inspection annually? I know we did prior to ODB II. 97 should be ok there tho...plus they have the 02 simulators. Anyway, Looking back, Id just make an intake unless you see someone with dyno proven gains...Same with headers...mainfolds might flow just fine unless you're doing other mods. Then again, im just somewhat jealous of 5.2s...lol.

I'm not dumping my cat I'm just adding a electric cutout behind it which I will be able to then open it to release the roar of the engine and when my cutout is closed my exhaust system should return to stock sound. I don't see any inspection problems as long as the cutout doesn't leak fumes when shut.

I don't know to much about headers and the performance they add but if I can gain an extra 12HP with new headers then I guess it's worth it.

stock headers flows fine unless you do other mods like a blower that increases the flow of air out of the engine
i would start with a cai, fastman tb, tuner
