Default Advice on inexpensive way to either add dual exhaust or better sounding exhauat

Any info on how to turn single exhaust into a good sounding dual exhaust or just a good single exhaust that will sound a little meaner than stock for the least amount of money? I got an 02 quad can v6 4x4

Just pickup a cherrybomb turbo at AutoZone. It's cheap, and it does make it sound a little meaner without making it annoyingly loud. Makes it sound like what a truck should sound like.

Just the muffler. Take it to a local auto repair shop and they can install it for you for cheap. Make sure you get the offset and measurements of the inlet and outlet pipes.

What should the measurements be and offset? Also is it a hard job to do? Do I need to take it to a shop?

Just take it to a shop. It's technically a fairly easy job but it would save you personally time and money to take it to a shop. The measurements are different from model to model. I have a 1999 SLT 3.9L V6, and mine are 2.25" and has the opposite offset, inlet and outlet are on the right and left side. If you took it to a shop, they could find out for you.

I installed a cherry bomb glass pack myself for $70 installed. You will need to measure the diameter of the muffler outlets, you exhaust pipe ( should be 2.5"), what adapters you will need and how much tail pipe you want.
