Took the Dakota ice racing last weekend - had a BLAST!
For the first race of the year, I took the Dodge. It ran better than I expected with a largely neutral chassis on and off the throttle. Most of the time I was able to get it to rotate at will. It was worlds better than my previous Ranger.

Looking at that list, my nearly stock Dakota didn't do half bad.
The conditions were great, just a light dusting of snow on the ice. It was a good turnout too with about 40 drivers.
For those who are unfamiliar, it's a 2+ mile autocross setup on a frozen lake. In my opinion it's just about the most fun you can have in a car, you can really drive at 10/10 with little consequence. You can push hard, and it's really not too hard on your car. And it's a great way to hone car control skills.
Enjoy the pics and video below. Don't mind the poor exposure on the action shots of my truck, my wife managed to bump the camera settings to manual exposure which didn't turn out too well.
