Default 2004 Dodge Dakota 4x4 Radiator drain plug..

So, I was attempting to flush my radiator when I turned the drain plug 1/4 of a turn counter clock wise and the turn **** broke. It's not leaking. It was really in there tight. Is this a problem ? I let it run for around 20 minutes til it heated up and no leaking.

As long as it isn't leaking you'll be fine. Keep an eye on it the next few days just to make sure.

I usually use one of those prestone flush kits. It's a lot easier than dealing with the drain.

Mine did the same thing. I just yanked the lower hose off the water pump. Makes a mess, but gets the job done.
