Default What tires are you running?

Just curious to see what everyone is running on their Dak.

About ready to buy some new shoes for mine. Looking mostly between the Cooper Discoverer AT3 and the Falken Wildpeak AT3W.

Pictures are welcome.

I had Goodyear Wrangler RT/S previously and when it was time to replace them I got another set. For me they served me well as a good all around tire. Not too noisy on the highway and good traction and ride quality on all surfaces, wet, dry, and snow. Plus pretty decent mileage life. Others may disagree but I've been happy with them. P265X70X16

I have had a 1997 Dakota SLT plus. 4x4 with 5.2L automatic since 1998 it had 120k Kilometres when I got it. 1 year old.
Now it has ~186k Kilometres.

In the spring of 1999 I install 31 inch BAJA 31x10.5R15LT 109 R M&S tires and changed the transmission speedo gear.

Since then I Replace the Engine Oil pan (it failed in late 2016), Transmission Pan, All Rear metal Brake Lines (Rubber ones still good)
Now as of today the Fuel line has failed under the rear of Club cab on the top of frame, totally rusted out. Lucky it didn't burn the truck down!
And now the rear end seal is leaking a few drops after the AT-205 "reseal" have drove it >2000 Km.

The same tires are on this truck (sidewalls Not even cracked), they out lasted both oil pans the brake line maybe even the and fuel lines...
They are good tires in my opinion.

And a update.
Hit a deer on Dec 08 160% loss..
Same tires 199198 Km, they are now worn out..

damage on front left, grill toast and light assembly and bumper pushed back a few inches, its 03/97.
I going to fix it myself for hopefully less than the $500 deductible. Its good for the massive salt spray
for hopefully 5 more years. The left fog light broke, I never like them will put in some LED's hole is only
1/2 smaller not a big deal.
The lights are a problem as its has different mounts? made in 03 1997

I"m not 100% sure who made the tires maybe Firestone or Briggs stone. I spelt that wrong
I read about the horror stories about these tires (Baja), this size was spared. 80k.

deer attack at night..
