it should with minor mod. IF mod is neccessary...
never did this but ive read ppl swapping 91 and older axle on 97-98-99 dak.

 

Another point of consideration, the 89 is a 5 bolt wheel and the 92-93 is 6 bolt.

 

This should bolt right up. The lugs as mentioned might be different. But thats nothing to worry about. Another thing to consider is the gearing.. Is your truck 4 wheel drive? Does the "new axle" have 3.90s also? If not a regear might be necessary. Also not the big of a deal..
