Hey guys i'm looking for a core to build or an already built 46re. My son bought an RT with a trans that was slipping. We have a plan for a turbo build but still streetable if anyone has any suggestions. I have been looking localy in WPB Florida and can't find a 46RE between 01-03. I prefer to build one then swap rather than have the truck sitting for the duration of the RRR. I saw some old posts of people selling built transmissions.

 

Several companies sell heavy duty built transmissions, but, they seem to think they are made of gold..... and price them accordingly.

You can use the trans out of truck as well, if you are 2wd, you can use one out of a van too. (anything behind a 5.2 or 5.9 motor....)

 

Don't get another slush box, put a 5 speed in it.
