I had to have my truck towed last night. I was leaving an area and didn't realize I was in 2nd. When I got to the highway i noticed it didn't shift so I moved it to drive. The next hill I got to it started to bog down. If I gave it the gas it bogged down worse. I can manually open the throttle to rev it up, but it doesn't rev up using the pedal. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery. I tried starting it and waiting for 20 seconds, turn off , wait two minutes, started again, waited 20 seconds and floored it. It still bogged down and backfired like crazy. This is my work truck and I mow yards to get by and stretch my SS. I'm already 5 yards behind because of the rain. Any suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks.

 

Pushing the pedal does the exact same thing as opening the throttle by hand....

Check engine lite on? (it should be.....) Need to get codes read.

And, because I simply can't resist..... "Limo" mode? How many doors did it add?
