I had seen that tube on my truck to. I have 4x4 and cruise and it all works and mines capped off as well.

 

That hose isnt just open tot he air is it? If it is you are going to havea serious vacuum leak! That can cause the engine to run really funny and very lean. Usually the hose that conects tot hat port goes tot he PCV valve on the valve cover, but any of the heses that connect the the intake manifold can be swapped, they are all just grabbing vacuum off the manifold. Make sure it's blocked off if not being used!

Normaly its a cap...they have em at any hardware store...
