Well,.. I got the dash & heater-box out,..
Horrible,........ Took me 3 1/2 hrs to get everything out so I could replace the heater-core & evaporator core.
Broke a small vacume line. One wire got ripped out. (From where I have no idea) but I'll find it tomorrow.
And, the blend-door pivot pin snapped off. That's fixed. Drilled it out where it broke and used a aluminum dowel
to make it better than new. I have at least 30 to 50 screws and bolt pulled out.
The heater core and Evap-core are slightly different than the OEM'S but, they will be just fine. I'll take picks also.
Maybe do a write-up on it if anyone is interested.
I will say, almost the 1st thing to do is read as much as you can before taking on this job.
Book time for this job is 6 hrs....... Maybe,...... if you have done 20 or thirty of these before.
For me; 3 1/2 out. I think it will be a solid 5 to get it all back together. I'll let you know!!!

RE: Well,.. I got the dash & heater-box out,..
Done,.. Started at 12:00 today and finished at 4:30 pm.
Air blows at 38 degrees and the heat is at 152!!
Not one screw or bolt ended up missing. (Can't believe that)!!
The heater core from Advance-auto is indeed slightly different but,
the directions that come with it tell you how to modify your air box to
make it work. Not bad at all. Just trimming of a few small plastic taps.
Now the Evaporator-Core takes a little more work to make it fit properly.
But this also is worth it do to the fact that Mopar wanted $327.00 for it.
Advance;.. $86.00.
I took pics. I'll post them after I up-load them tomorrow. Also, working on a write-up.
On a scale of 1 to 10, ten being the hardest, it's a solid 8 I would say.
9 solid hours, no breaks at all to do this. But, I got lucky not having to fight rusty bolts,
or stripped screws. I'll ask a mod to review my write-up and see what or if they want to do with it.
Later-later.
