Fuel monitors
Good day to all,
I am looking for a fuel monitoring system for my 2001 Dakota, I made the mistake and did not
take the option back in 2001. I called the dealer but it is an unreal task to convert my truck...
according to them the computer would have to be changed and wires would have to be added.
Is there any after market systems that exist andare reliable, something that resembles the original system.
Do they give fuel consumtion, miles left before running out of gaz, ect.

you may want to cruise the local junk yards for one. mine on my 05 gives the time engine has been running, distance to empty. aver m p gallon. . but there not there acurate. mine say after each fill up miles to empty 322. but i get 360/380 from a tank of gas.
