yea i found a 97 with 65000 miles for about 7500, anybody know if thats a good buy, o btw, its a 4x4 SLT, with power windows and cruise control? i might just try and talk the parents into dumping what ive got and getting this one for me, hopefully ill succeed

newer, not worth that much unless ur gna pay it off in say 2 years

I would spend as lil money as possible to get it to pass. then drive her into the ground for a year or two and save up for a better truck

first off im 90% sure ya have a blowby problem if its smokin that bad at start, so yea id rebuild the motor if the truck is all good other than the motor...

yea but i dont want to spend that kind of money on this truck, thats the problem, we stopped the smoking and are going to get it past inspection, and then probably run it for a year and then ill get something more reliable for college when im commuting 30 miles each way, but if you think thats the best way to go then ill probably do it just bc i really dont want to waste my money, but i would like to have a 4x4, so im going to keep my eyes open for one in my area
