Performance Tuners
Do these things really work?
Hate to give up this kind of money on electronics that don't even work.
Which one is best?

Do they work?
Have you ever heard of any of these companies?
Umm Yeah....
Just hearing of these companies doen't mean these things are worth having. I am really hoping to hear first hand testimonials from folks who hav or hav had and what they thought.
Thanks though

RE: Performance Tuners
Hypertech = GM based, i use to have it nothing special out of it except for a new speed of 128 instead of 115.
Superchips = Best for Dodge, they have diffrent setting tow/performance/ect. and they raise the limiter a bit more then 128
Jetchips/any chips = Go with a handheld programmer, like the ones above chips will not increase speed limiter, and all they do is give you better air/fuel curves, and run 92 octane.
Also if you do use any of these you will need to buy a 180thermostat.

RE: Performance Tuners
I LOVE my SuperChips (03 Quad Cab 2X4 Automatic, K&N Intake, NGK plugs). The difference between stock and 87 Octane Performance setting is great!
I recently put in 91 octane, and am trying out the tow setting, but I'm not very impressed so far. I seem to have lost my solid shifts at WOT. I'll be switching to 91 Octane Performance this weekend.
I highly recommend SuperChips.
