I want to swap my gears. I have 3.55 right now. I can't decide between the 4.10 or the 4.56. Anyone have any experience or insight to offer? I have the 3.9.

well, I too have the 3.55 rear end in my truck and I'm thinking about going with the 4.10's... in my opinion with the 4.56's you lose too much top end.. i.e. a guy I know with the 4.7 and 4.56's said when he's cruising at aroun 75mph, his rpm's are almost at 3600.. since I travel on the highway quite often I want to keep my rpm's as low as possible, but I also want better pickup/acceleration which you would get with the 4.10's.. this is about all I know about them.. which isn't much...

 

the 3.96's arent so bad, enough power at the wheels for me, the 3.9 cruises at a nice 2400 rpm's doin 75 mph

 

I'm looking to swap in a set of 3.23's into my 01 4.7 4x4 QC

 

i got the r/t 3.92s and im uping mine to 4.10s, better low end, for the 1/4 mile races.. but it is a street truck, so i wont be doing 4.56s need the highway hall *** power.
