Default Duals on 5 sp?

Just wondering if anyone with a 3.9 manual runs duals? Not sure if it would sound too good. I am satisfied with my single in single out fm40 but still want it to be a little louder without sounding like a ricer.

watch the tips. my muffler shop only had one set of chrome tips... 3" or so. grrrrrr... sounded like a top fuelie with a truck cam. just plain aweful. paid to have the tips removed, sounds much better with the same muffler.

i'm in same situation got a 3.9L 5 sp. Iputting 3.5" tips on w/side out duals 1 pipe behind each tire, not sure hows it gunna sound. I'm using a magnaflow or ss409 muffler. Thats what my guy recommended. From that video it sounds alright.

You should keep me informed about how that goes and how it sounds. I am afraid of the popping/crackling of the manual shifting. Also, if you go too large with the outs you might lose low end i heard?

You'll also gain more torque with smaller piping. ;-)
