Default Auto Transmission Slipping?

Can the front and or read band when not adjusted properly cause a slip from 2-3 shift? It seems to be getting worse day by day. But I can hear it like spin inside the band. Im not sure what it might be, I just had it rebuilt so probably just needs a tune, but wanted to make sure before actually taking it to the shop or something and spending money on something not needed.

Mine didnt shift from 2nd to 3rd at Wide Open Throttle, but i just went down and did a tranny flush, with Mopar ATF+4 and got a new Mopar Filter from the dealer/gasket and it fixed my problem.

If that didnt fix it, i was going to replace the Shift Solinoid and Govenor Pressure Sensor,

also what kind of truck do you have and what tranny?
