Hey yall i got a '03 dakota sxt, Do you know of any worth while performance parts for the 3.9L engine. So far i got a k and n air filter. Thats alright i guess, but i'm looking for the next level. Horsepower and performance gains. I'm getting the exhaust done on thursday ( dual side outs 3.5 x18" tips w/ a magnaflow muffler) i look foward to gettign that done! But are superchips worth while, will they **** up my computer makin my Dak suck gas and act weird. Also i'd love to know some good websites for Mopar/dakota stickers to put on the back glass i.e the ram head, mopar symbol. Any information you could spare would be much appreciated. Thanks and keep on keeping on.
ya, the stickers are on back order..... I finally got mine acouple weeks ago, and it makes me go sooo much faster
but ya, I've always wanted a mopar sticker, I just cant find em.

the 3.9 is pretty hard to beef up, in the sense that you could spend all this money bringing your HP up, but then you would have spent enough to get a V8, with the same HP. If you really want to add a lot of HP then concider swaping out the engine for a 318 or 360. The 3.9 is kind of a dog, but it sure is rugged.

If your gonna put on the throttle body spacer, you might as well throw on one of those vorteck thingys that make the intake air spiril into the TB. Between that and the go fast stickers, you should be able to squeez out an additional 100 RWHP! lol. Oh yeah....dont forget the flame decals.....very important!
do your intake side first. first get a CAI, then a bigger throttle body, F&B 48mm is the best. then get some harland sharp 1.7 roller rockers, these 3 mods will get you around 30 horses at the wheels. after you do all this, then you do your exhaust. if you do exhaust first you will lose low end.
