Default Trans question?

Hey guys i am so hapy to be a dodge owner. I have only owned everything else but i couldn't resist the R/t. So the question is - can you change out the auto transmission with a manual? And what might i have to change to get it in there. I want more power.

Also if you know how i could pump out some more power please do tell.

Default RE: Trans question?

tons of posts already about power addons. Search for them..

as for the Tranny, stock they come with 46re, 4 speed auto, you can change it out with a 5 speed, or a 6 speed (viper) tanny, it takes tons of work and money. So good luck.

but it can be done.

also what do you mean by power do you want 800+ none street truck, or somthing that can beat things light to light....

most common mods.. CAI, Exhuast/Headers, to start out with, then from there build it up, TB, Intake manifold, cam, gears, pcm, internals, S/C/Turbo ect..

the 5.9s have TONS of parts easy to find, just dont go out and by a tornado or a tb spacer, waste of money and dont do **** for the truck.
