Default Smoking Truck...

Well I was out this weekend, and i was driving down the beltway to get to home depot, and i started smelling this burning smell, and then it went away. I got to home depot and the car started smoking under the hood.So I parked got out checked everything and the smoking cleared. Well i went to the other home depot and the car started pouring out smoke under the hood so I called AAA they towed it to the local carshop and they will look at it monday morning. What do you think it could be. It sort of felt like the brakes were dragging a bit too.
