ummm...........no.
alot of people wanna drop V8's into their V6 truck. and almost all of them either buy a truck with a V8 already in it or just put up with the V6. its not worth it to put a V8 in your truck, it will be alot cheaper to sell your truck and buy one with a V8.
also do a search on here, this has been covered lots of times. and you can get some more info on it.
you can do a couple bolt on mods to your V6 if you want abit more power, but I wouldnt put too much into it.

On the later model vehilcles, isn't it a law that you have to keep the stock engine in the vehicle. Sure you can add all kinds of bolt on mods, but i think you have to keep the stock size motor in the vehicle. I could be wrong....
But i completely agree with jonny....buy a truck with a V8.

Last summer, I was wondering the same thing when I was in the build-up of the 540 ci for my older Corvette. I ran out of money and couldn't afford the new tranny at that time. Didn't matter. What I realized pretty quickly when I drove the new motor for the first time is that as long as I keep the street radials on the car, it's all good. Burnouts are your transmission and rear-ends best friend.

but if you like your truck that much and you want the power of the V8 and you can pick one up cheap, I would go for it. dont let people tell you what you cant do.

Don't quote me on this, but iirc you're allowed to put a same model year or newer motor in a vehicle as long as you put all associated emissions control crap in with it from the year of the motor.
$600 for a magnum 360? Sounds like it'll probably need a rebuild sometime down the road, if not already. Then you need the tranny, rear end, driveshaft, ECU, wiring harness, radiator (?), etc. etc. etc.
